A graduate of University of Michigan Medical School, Dr. Leung completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and a fellowship in Gastroenterology at Tufts Medical Center.

He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, and Allergy/Immunology.

Dr. Leung likes the intellectual and procedural aspects of gastroenterology along with being able to continue seeing patients in the clinic, performing procedures for patients, and participating in research directly related to patients that he works with on a daily basis.

Dr. Leung has co-authored more than 50 peer-reviewed manuscripts including an article in the New England Journal of Medicine, as well as numerous scientific abstracts, book chapters, and online tutorials.  He is the only U.S. Physician who is duel board certified in Allergy/Immunology and Gastroenterology.

In his free time, Dr. Leung enjoys playing table tennis and badminton along with traveling to new places with his family.
