Dr. Calmet is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine.
A graduate of Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia, Dr. Calmet completed his internal medicine residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami where he served as chief medical resident, followed by a gastroenterology fellowship and a transplant hepatology fellowship at Jackson Memorial Hospital. During his gastroenterology fellowship he followed a specialized track in neurogastroenterology and motility and during his transplant hepatology fellowship he ran the gastrointestinal motility lab at the University of Miami Hospital in Florida. He then completed an advanced endoscopy fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
He is board certified in internal medicine, gastroenterology, and transplant hepatology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
